Which set of Surface Book Drivers do I download?

Question

I see there is a new set of 4/25/2017 Surface Book Drivers to download...along with choices of:

File Name:

SurfaceBook_Win10_15063_1702000_0.msi

SurfaceBook_Win10_15063_1702000_1.zip

SurfaceBook_Win10_1701000_0.msi

SurfaceBook_Win10_1701000_0.zip

When I go to "About" here's what I see:

Edition Windows 10 Pro

Version 1703

OS Build 15063.250

So which drivers should I download?

If you want, but before you use, check online for newer version. More info at Download drivers and firmware for Surface.

The msi file when run,  will force install all drivers for 1703/15063.***

The zip file must be extracted and has all the drivers, but does not have the platform installer. After extracting files, you have to select the driver to install - you can do this from device manager, etc.

Is there a specific driver that you need or do you just want to keep these on hand "just in case"?

I want to keep them on-hand just in case. I do tinker abit, so it's helpful to have them.

So I should download the 15063/1703 drivers?

I don't understand why this has to be so cryptic either.

I believe the numbers represent the windows build versions. 

In a command prompt or powershell, run "winver", check your windows version and match that to the download version.
