My surface Pro 4 worked for 3 months without display problems, but could never get it resolved.
Worked with the Microsoft support and they dragged it out long enough so the warranty expired, so now it sits in my desk drawer.
Yes, Bill Gates is richer but I’m out a gift that my family worked hard to give me.
It was a Christmas gift from my wife and kids, (no she did not buy extended services contract). They work extra hours to buy this for me.
I enjoyed it for about 3 months. Was great when it worked.
My Experience:
*Keyboard issues from the start, (finally they replaced it).
**PIN would not work and cause issue when trying to us it, (endless driver updates and changes).
***After the two issues above were resolved, (4 months later) then the flickering\blurry\double line display issue began. I work with the Microsoft support center for endless hours of change this setting, change that setting, load this driver and load that driver along with did you power reset the device. Well the power button works.
In the end it would work for a while but not for long but they dragged it out long enough passed my warranty as to not take my calls anymore.
You want to give all the money you made away so start by fixing the Surface Pro. It is a hardware issue, it a software issue, it a driver issue, we don't care just fix it.
The unit was never damaged I just want to use and enjoy my family worked hard to give me.
