1440 x 960 Screen Resolution Option Is Needed

Is there any way to set the Surface Pro 3's screen to a resolution of 1440 x 960?  If not, please consider this a request to add to the internal display options.

At this resolution, the scaling can be set to 100%, and provide a usable view of both the desktop and modern interface, using the entire screen area.  More importantly, I can connect and disconnect from external monitors/projectors without needing to change the scaling and go through the required logout/login.

Currently, as a workaround, I am using 1440 x 900 at 100% scaling, but am losing 60 pixels of the screen as this is not a 3:2 ratio.

Thanks.

I also would like this option. I should be able to see all of the resolutions that fit my aspect ratio 3:2 so I can utilize the full screen. I don't want to see black at the top and bottom or left and right depending on what my resolution is set to. I don't want it to stretch either.

    Here is a link to a post that contains a registry edit to add 3:2 screen resolution options, including 1440 x 960, 1728 x 1152, and 1920 x 1280.

Unlike other solutions I have seen posted, I did not have to force an install of older Intel drivers or download an application to make this work.

As it says in the post, YMMV on it working correctly for you.  Download and install at your own risk.

Thanks ajstan99. What I'm really hoping for is a supported method for achieving this.
