Screen not flush with casing

At the bottom by the Windows logo the screen is not flush with the casing. There is a sharp lip. Can't remember it being there from the start. Anyone else got this problem?

    Sorry to hear that. It sounds like you will also need a replacement. You can either create a service order yourself at our Online Service Center or contact our Technical Support Team for assistance.

    The adhesive that holds the screen in may need to be repaired. I'd take it to your local Microsoft store for service/exchange or return it online.

    on closer inspection, the screen has sunk in where my thumbs hold the device at the bottom! Is this a known problem or something that happens because of the stress and maybe head generated by simple holding the device?! Very strange that the glass is starting to mould to my thumbs!

    I don't know if I should send it back or not if its going to happen again!

    Please contact the Microsoft Store where you purchased your Surface or go to the

    Surface Online Service Center to initiate an exchange.

    Please make sure that each website is set to the country from which you made your purchase.
