Pen draws without touching screen

Question

Hello everyone,

I'm french so excuse my basic english.

I have same problems since 2 days. But I have the original Surface Pen. I bought it with my Surface pro 7. Same moment.

I use Photoshop too, and it's very difficult. My pen draw even if nothing touch the screen; It just have to be near, something like 1 cm from the screen;

I tried everything I know, windows update, drivers, dissociate the pen. This morning, I saw, even if on local app , different photoshop, writing is the same.

Pen just have to be near the screen and it automatically write something follow my arm movement.

Please help

Does the issue only happen with the pen? Have you tried your fingertip and check if issue also occurs? You might also want to check if your pen is doing the same thing on other Surface device or not.

In the meantime, follow the methods on Troubleshoot your Surface Pen (microsoft.com) and check if problem persists or not. Run the Surface Diagnostic Toolkit and check for Windows Update on your device.

Dear Microsoft agent

I have the same problems with this authors.

It is about to have a problem after I get the recent update with Microsoft.

This is an example, i could not even writing there are some line during each alphabet.

I did calibration, change the pen tip however it is still happened.

Please help
