My camera does not show options

When I open my camera app, it only gives me three options; make a video, panoramic, and capture photo. It does not give me the option to switch from back to front camera, or set up brightness etc. Is there a way for this to be fixed or do I have reset to factory settings?

    Hi angie.lopez.

Welcome to the community. We understand you can't find options in the camera app. Please try the following step:

    1. On the Start screen, tap or click the Camera app.
    2. Swipe down from the top edge of the screen. You will see a bar appear at the bottom of the screen, and do any of these steps.
      • Tap or click Change camera to switch between the front and back cameras.
      • Tap or click Timer to set how long the camera waits before it takes a photo: 0, 3, or 10 seconds.
      • Tap or click Exposure and move the slider to adjust the brightness of the photo.

You can also modify the photo aspect ratio, show or hide grid lines, adjust flicker, and turn on or off location info in the Camera app. Here’s how:

    1. Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and tap or click Settings.
    2. Tap or click Options, and choose the settings you want.

    We hope this helps.

    Kind regards,

    Clare
