Surface pan battery drained out in one Day of idling.

Hi I need a support with trouble-shutting for my Surface pen (without cap).

My previous battery feels good for 1 year, but after replacement new battery drained out after one night of idling.

When I have started my surface at first I thought that my pen has been died, but after checking battery voltage (0.4 V) it was clear that it's a battery.

Second replacement shows that after few hours I have only 81% and it's too fast.

UPDATE:

I have performed steps from Surface pen battery draining before posting this and it did't help at all, as I think it's nothing on Surface side as drying happens during idling (surface shut down).

After posting this I have check battery status and it's 71% and voltage shows me 1.35V. I am using A class DURACELL battery, the same as come from the box.

Thanks for reaching Microsoft Community, Iurii_Zaitsev. We're sorry to learn about this issue on your pen.

Since replacing the battery did not help, then we know this is more likely a hardware problem on the pen. You may want to consider replacing the whole pen instead. For further assistance, kindly contact Microsoft Surface Support to seek exchange options for your pen. If you're located outside United States, see Global Support. Replacement cost applies to out of warranty device and for further service.

    Best regards,

    StevenK

Thanks for keeping us posted, Iurii_Zaitsev. We're sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you.

However, there are no longer physical stores to have your pen replaced. The best thing you need to do is to contact our support above mentioned via phone, and have them process the replacement for you.
