My Lap top ( Microsoft Surface 4) has issues with Internet

My lap top (microsoft surface 4) can be connected to Wifi but the internet is not working ( no content is being loaded). If I move closer to the wifi router or rather sit next to the router on the table, then internet works fine but all other devices in the apartment get distracted, no content is showing on our tv, even phones who are connected to the same wifi get problems loading content. I have been told the reason might be the Windows 11. But the issue didn‘t occur right from the start, so it worked normally for one year.

    Hi Stefan Miladinovic

Let’s collaborate to discover the optimal resolution for this problem. I apologize that you’re encountering connectivity issues with your Surface Laptop 4.

    1. Restart your Surface Laptop 4 and your Wi-Fi router.
    2. Check if other devices in your apartment are also experiencing slow internet speeds or connectivity issues. If they are, it could be an issue with your Wi-Fi router or internet service provider.
    3. Move your Surface Laptop 4 closer to the Wi-Fi router and see if the internet connection improves. If it does, it could be an issue with the Wi-Fi signal strength.
    4. Try connecting your Surface Laptop 4 to a different Wi-Fi network to see if the issue persists. If it does, it could be an issue with your laptop's Wi-Fi adapter.
    5. Check if there are any updates available for your Surface Laptop 4's network adapter driver. You can do this by going to Device Manager, expanding the Network adapters section, right-clicking on your Wi-Fi adapter, and selecting Update driver.
    6. If none of the above step's work, you can try resetting your Surface Laptop 4's network settings. To do this, go to Settings > Network & Internet > Status > Network reset.

Let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

    Kind regards

    Christopher.
