surface book2 to thunderbolt montior

Lots of discussion, but no clear answers.  Can I connect my Apple Thunderbolt monitor to my Surface book 2 computer.  Either through dock or directly. If possible, how and what (if any) additional hardware is required.

    Hi Paul,

    Despite the connector size being identical, the USB-C port on the Surface Book 2 does not support Thunderbolt connection.

    You may contact Apple Support if you need assistance about your concern.

    Feel free to post back if you have any  other concerns.
