Try Ctrl-F5 instead of just regular Refresh (or F5).

    Hello P€dro.

Thank you for posting your concern in Microsoft Community. We understand you're having issues using the browser on Surface and we're here to help.

We just need a few details in order for us to better assist you on this:

    • Does this happen on any browsers that you are using on Surface?
    • Is there an error message when it freezes?
    • When does this usually happen? When streaming videos or just browsing the web?

These information can help us to resolve your web browsing issues.

    Best Regards,

    Charline

Happens on every browser. It says "can't load this page. Retry later" it happens with videos n browsing the web. I've cleaned the history, cleaned out the cookies, run software testing to see if there was n issue. Nothing has helped.

at least once a day a page will jut freeze

Depending on what you are seeing, I would try using a Find (Ctrl-f) for some text in the web page, preferably something that will cause the page to scroll in order to show you its Previous hit (e.g. from the first).  I have to do this frequently in forums to be able to scroll them.  And it is not just IE11 on RT; it happens on my Surface 2 Pro with W10 and Edge too; so I suspect it is more to do with the forum scripts than anything else.

    FYI
