I have a Microsoft surface book 3 and the USB-A ports feel loose and don't always work. Is there a way to have these fixed?

    Hello Rae,

Thank you so much for reaching out, I am Udit an independent advisor, and I am glad to assist you today.

It's best to have the device assessed by Microsoft support. Since the USB-A ports are part of the Surface Book’s chassis, internal repair or replacement might be needed. You can begin this process by visiting support.microsoft.com and signing in with your Microsoft account to start a service order.

Let me know if you need further assistance with anything else.

    Regards

    Udit

Surface Book 3 is a discontinued product. Out of warranty service options are no longer available. Best option would be an authorized service provider.

    Hope this helps,

    Greg
