Hi Jayanta Bhattacharya2,
Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.
I understand that you're having problem with your Surface book 2 that is showing greyish ghost dots. The greyish ghost dots you are experiencing on your Surface Book 2's display may be related to a phantom ghost touch that could be a caused by a hardware issue or a software issue.
To determine the cause of the issue, I recommend that you try the following troubleshooting steps:
- Update your Surface Book 2 to the latest version of Windows and install all available updates.
- Check if the issue is present in the UEFI settings.
- Select Start > Settings > System > Recovery.
- Next to Advanced startup, select Restart Now.
- Under Choose an option, select Troubleshoot> Advanced Options> UEFI Firmware Settings, and then select Restart.
- The steps above will open the UEFI page and see if the issue is visible.
- Try connecting your Surface Book 2 to an external display to see if the issue persists.
Let me know how it goes.
Kind regards,
Lavenia
