Hello I am looking for a laptop that is compatible with my Wacom Cintiq Pro. I currently have my eyes on the Surface Book 2 but I don't know if the Wacom tablet will be able to hook up with it or not. Do I have to buy an adapter or will it hook up automatically? Or will it just not work? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello CatherineAzelby,

Thank you for reaching out Microsoft Community. We really appreciate all the efforts that you did just to possibly address this concern and thank you for choosing Surface.

this are the system requirements for a device to make your Wacom Cintiq pro 13 work:

PC: Windows® 7 or later Mac: OS X® 10.11 or later For Full HD connection: USB-C port supporting DisplayPort Alternate Mode; or Mini DisplayPort and USB-A port; or HDMI port, USB-A port and high speed HDMI cable (up to 3 meter, 1 meter recommended) for HDMI connectivity; up to 1 meter Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable for DisplayPort connectivity; internet access

since the Surface book2 has Mini Display port and a USB-A port your Wacom Cintiq pro 13 should work.

    Please keep us posted.

    Regards,

    Jonas_T
