Audio Recording on Surface Pro 4
Hi!
I want to record live audio from a mixer board. When i plug in a 3.5mm audio jack into my Surface Pro 4, it only recognizes it as line-out. Most computers pop up a dialogue box that asks how to treat the new connection - as an audio-in or audio-out. The surface doesn't seem to be doing that. I have been successful in recording it via a USB audio splitter but that is an extra accessory. Is there a way to record sound from a mixer board WITHOUT an external accessory?
