    Hello Victor,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

Can you tell us what update you installed that caused this symptom? Does it come from a Windows update or from a driver or firmware update?

You can check the update history by clicking on the Start menu -- Settings --Windows Update -- where you can confirm what the latest update is. (If necessary, please let us know if this is a 24H2 push)

Assuming you can uninstall the latest installed update, please restart your Surface Pro9 after the uninstallation is complete and let us know the result. If the problem does not occur again, please ask us to provide the name and KB number of the installed update, so that we can collect it and give feedback through internal channels.

However, if the problem persists after uninstalling the update, I recommend manually installing the driver and firmware package for the Surface Pro 9:

Download drivers and firmware for Surface - Microsoft Support ****

You must download the driver and firmware package for the correct CPU model.

After the installation is complete, restart the Surface and verify that the issue has been resolved.

If you are willing to share the results here, please don't hesitate to let me know.

    Best Regards,

Mitchell | Microsoft Community Support Specialist
