Surface Dial to change Color in apps

I am an educator who lectures using Drawboard and PowerPoint.  I bought the Surface Dial under the misguided impression that I could program it to quickly scroll through/change colors during my presentations using either app.  Does anyone have any ideas or know if there is a keyboard shortcut that I could use to achieve my goal?

    Hello Helix,

Customizing what the Surface Dial does can be achieved by going to **Settings > Devices > Wheel,**and select Add button + to add Custom tool to add a keyboard shortcut you want to see when you rotate left, right, or click Surface Dial. This may vary depending on the supported application or where the Dial settings were set. For instance, pushing the Dial on the desktop will only show settings at the OS level compared to when its done within a supported application. For more info, you can refer to this article under the Use Surface Dial with apps.

Check the Slide Master and **Customize a slide master**articles for additional information that can help you with your PowerPoint slides with the same fonts and images in one place.
