Print Screen F7 Button No Longer Working on Surface Pro 4

Hi Everyone,

For some reason my PrtScn F7 button on my keyboard to the Surface Pro 4 no longer works. How do I reactivate it so that when I click it a screen shot occurs?

Very late post but is your Fn button on? I had the same problem, managed to resolve it by turning my Fn off

I have the same issue. Found that WINDOWS key + F7 works, hopefully will do so for you. The other option of POWER button + VOL up can work, but coordinating the two is a bit hit or miss.

2. Did you make any software changes to the computer prior to this issue?
3. "Also tried the screenshot capture feature, same thing happens", are you facing the same issue with snipping tool?

Hi,  so microsoft tech support sent me a new keyboard. I received this keyboard and the button still is not working. What are some ideas that I can do to help reactivate or assist in this button working?
