So recently my charger for the surface pro 3 broke, so I went and bought the 24W charger that is normally for Surface Go. The Microsoft store employees said that it should be fine just that it will charge slower. After trying it out, I found that the laptop only charges while it is turned off. Is that normal b/c the 24W doesn't match the 36W on the Surface Pro 3?
Or is this new charger defective? B/c I tried to charge my laptop at the Microsoft store with the 24W charger, and it was fine there. It was charging even while the computer was on.
