Surface Go 2 LTE Cellular support for Verizon network

We are having problems with getting the Surface Go 2 to work with our Verizon SIM card.  We are working with Kajeet, one of Verizon's preferred wireless provider for IoT.  We have been successfully using Verizon SIM cards with the Surface Go for several years without any problems.

There is another forum post from another user saying that they have also had problems activating their Verizon SIM (Surface Go 2 cannot be activated on Verizon).

Can Microsoft provide information why we would be having problems activating Verizon SIM cards for the Surface Pro 2?

This issue was resolved by replacing our consumer Surface Go 2 with a Surface Go 2 for business.  We were able to work with Kajeet to activate the SIM for the Surface Go 2 for Business on the Verizon network successfully.

    Hi, buckerstampe!

Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Community and posting your concerns. We are sorry to learn you have Verizon activation issues with your Surface Go 2. Thanks for taking the time to let us know about this and allowing us to help you out.

When you use a SIM card on your Surface Go 2 with Verizon, you just need to call Verizon and provide them the IMEI for activation. Since this involves a wireless provider using the Verizon wireless networks, please check with Kajeet on this. If the issue still presents itself even after you contacted them and also followed the steps at https://support.microsoft.com/help/4036286/, please Contact Microsoft Support****right away.

If this is a device in a workplace environment, kindly open this page to Contact Surface Support for Business/Enterprise for further assistance.

    Kind regards,

    Janette_Z
