Hi, I am setting up my Surface tablet and it won't let me switch in the location setting.  when I go in to it, it is greyed out.

Any suggestions how I can change this?

Thanks

    Greetings Ibanham,

Thank you for your contribution in the Microsoft community. We are glad to read and assist you with your Surface RT. Let me apologize for the troubles setting up your location on your device. I can imagine the frustration you're in.  I also want to thank you for bringing this to our attention so we can help.

When you go in Control Panel>Location Settings, make sure that the "**Turn on the Windows Location platform"**box is checked.

You can also switch location ON/OFF by going to Settings> Change PC settings > Privacy > Location.

If you still have issues, please consider resettingthe device.

Let us know if you have any further questions.
