Microsoft OneNote Calibration & swiping in from the edges

Recently, the calibration in my OneNote has been off to the point where it is almost unusable. Any other time I am using my Surface2 however, the calibration is fine. I went into settings anyways and recalibrated my surface, this didn't fix the problem. Any other ideas as to a solution?

Also, now when I try to swipe in from the right (when on any screen) the start menu won't show up. I checked in my settings and this option IS selected. When on the internet, swiping from the bottom no longer works anymore either, only swiping from the top. Any solutions for this?

i've found that the windows calibration utility is mostly designed for devices with pen input, as fingers are not precise enough to touch the specific points and you end up with bad calibration with then effectively breaks the edge swipes.

Just get it back to the default calibration for best results (from my own experience).

I noticed that OneNote has become almost unusable on my Surface RT after the 8.1 update.

    Greetings KaitlinCulver,

Can you give more details about the calibration issue you're experiencing?

Also, can you give more details about what happens when you swipe in from the right?

I was able to fix the calibration issue. I just had to close one note and reopen it. However, when I swipe from the right it just scrolls right, and won't open the little start/settings/search pane that usually comes up
