I cannot upload any photos or videos from Surface laptop to Media

I've been trying to attach files(upload photos) to media such as facebook's messenger or instagram but I can't. I have been trying all day, my product is new and waited a week to get it. I've already set myself as administrator and closed and opened apps. What can I do???

    May I know what is the error message you get when you try to upload your photos or video on Facebook messenger and Instagram? or what happens when you try to upload the photo or video?

    Are you accessing these social media platforms through a web browser or through its application? If through a web browser, which browser are you using?

    For now, kindly try running these steps first on the device then see if the issue persist:

    1: Run Surface Diagnostic Toolkit and check Windows Update

    2: Run System File Checker Tool in Windows 10
