Hello guys really hope you can help

So basically I locked myself out of my account and lost my ridiculously long numbered password for the account recovery ages ago. Got sick of it and set up a new account Had to delete my entire user profile and all data associated via administrator commander, now when I try to turn on the computer I get one screen that is red with surface written where it should be in the middle then it flashes straight to the pictured screen, nothing I do makes any difference, what should I do now? Itsa Microsoft edge 3 if that helps at all

Thank you for any replys

    Hi Tomaas,

Based on the screenshot you provided, one of the possible reasons why your Surface device was stuck on the start screen is because of hardware/software failure. To better assist you, we need the answers to the following questions:

    • Which model of Surface are you using?
    • What happens when you select Exit Setup?

In the meantime, we suggest checking the troubleshooting methods in this thread related to your concern.

We are looking forward to your response.

    Hello Jefferson

Thankyou for your quick reply and thankyou for taking the time, its a surface pro 3, tablet/computer, Intel core i7 processor, 256gb 8gb ram.

When I exit setup it asks me to save and reset, save configuration and reset, no leaves me on the page and yes restarts the computer, it flashes surface then immediatly brings be back to the same page as picturered. On advance device security everything is enabled And screen keyboard is auto.Thankyou kindly for your patience.

    Hello Tomaas,

Thank you for providing an update regarding the situation. We need to confirm if the screen that you see is the same as the picture below. if it is, we recommend that you follow the steps in the attached photo.

If you continue to see the red screen when you turn your Surface on, your Surface needs service. Go to Send my Surface in for service.

    Regards.
