Bing and Start apps completely broken on surface duo 2

The Bing app and its stable-mate 'start' are completely broken on surface duo 2. News is unreadable, with flickering while the app hunts for a display aspect. Comments are also broken and refuse to show more than two comments. There is zero gesture support which the surface duo uses for interactions. Overall, a completely subpar experience for a Microsoft app on a Microsoft handset, a $2500 handset no less. This is appalling for such an expensive device that comes from your company. Fix it please.

I've also tried to log the issue through multiple supplied email addresses which all have bounced, which is not a good look.

I have been having the same exact experience for months. In addition to what you describe, the home page of Bing app also only shows 1/2 of each tile in the left column. I don't understand how Microsoft can let this continue for so long on their own premium device. It's very discouraging!

Really? I think you know this is an issue. Why would you ask for all this information when you are surely aware that this is a problem. This doesn't offer any solace to those of us who have invested thousands of dollars and time into your eco-system and have not, like so many others, jumped ship and gone to Apple.

I had this issue, and what fixed it for me was to long press on the app icon, go to a App Info (scroll right), then scroll to the bottom and choose App Details which will open the app on the Google Play Store. From there, choose Uninstall. Then click Open, and it worked for me. After I successfully opened the app, then I clicked update on the app in the store, and it still worked after it updated.
