Hi , l was looking for a journal app for Microsoft Pro and found Diarium. I bought the App on Microsoft Store but was unable to download it - it showed an error message on every attempt . I purchased it for a second time assuming it to be an issue with my initial purchase, however I've still not been able to install it. How do I solve this issue?

    Hi Janette,

    Thanks for replying,

In order of the steps suggested,

    • I updated Windows and restarted the device to install the updates.
    • Microsoft Store still showed the 'ERROR' message when I tried downloading the app.
    • Microsoft Store did not have an update available.

The app is still not downloading and showing 'ERROR' instead.

    Any alternate suggestions are welcome.

    Warm Regards.

    Hello, NewUser99999.

We are sorry to learn it did not download. You might want to try resetting the Microsoft Store cache, then try to install the app.

Press the Windows Logo Key + Rto open the Run dialog box, type wsreset.exe, and then select OK.

Note:  A blank Command Prompt window will open, and after about ten seconds the window will close and Microsoft Store will open automatically.

Let me know how it goes.

    Thanks!

    Regards,

    Janette_Z

    Hi Janette_Z,

    Thank you for replying.

When I tried your suggestion, the Command Prompt window did open. However, it did not close and the Microsoft Store did not open.

It didn't work in short. Is there anything else I can try?

    Thank you,

    Anna
