I am facing the below error while opening the group policy editor

****Failed to open the Group Policy Object. You may not have appropriate rights.**
    Details:
The specified name is no longer available**

I have checked C:\Windows\System32 for group policy folder to modify the gpo settings but did not find any folder related to Group Policy.

Please help me to solve this issue.
