whats app and other application not working properly

Dear Microsoft Support Team,

I am writing to express my frustration with a recurring issue on my recently purchased Surface Pro 11. Whenever I shut down and restart my device, WhatsApp fails to connect, displaying a "no connection" message. I am forced to log out and log in again to restore functionality, which has become very frustrating.

This issue is not limited to WhatsApp; I have encountered similar problems with several other applications. As a new customer who has just switched from Apple to Microsoft, I regret this experience.

I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue at your earliest convenience.

Thank you!!

    Hello, Dawar hyder.

    Welcome to Microsoft Community!

We would like to start by thanking you very much for choosing to use a Surface device and for providing feedback on these issues here. The Microsoft community has also been collecting a wide variety of issues that users have encountered while using the Surface Pro 11 and providing regular feedback.

At the same time, considering the user experience, if you are dissatisfied with the use of this device in any way, we support you in contacting your sales representative to request a refund and other services.

Next, for the use of apps, allow me to continue to share with you the following:

The Surface Pro 11 is powered by a Snapdragon X processor and the system architecture is Arm64. We need to make sure that the apps we use are applicable to the Arm architecture. There are still some apps that have not been released for Arm and this is where many users get confused.

According to research, Whatsapp has been released for the Arm environment, but it seems to be supported only on Android. The problem you are experiencing with not being able to connect may also be related to compatibility.

Here, perhaps you could also share other app use cases with us so that we can document them and make any possible optimizations in subsequent system updates.

We are committed to listening to you and collecting cases for feedback.

Thank you for your interest and support of the Microsoft community.

    Best Regards.

    Leo,

This is a user who switched from Apple to Microsoft, and your resolution for this unsatisfactory experience is to provide a refund? This is an absolutely disgraceful resolution from you or Microsoft.

Please see below all the URL links to ARM users facing WhatsApp app syncing issues. We are not complaining without reason; this is a legitimate issue, and we are not seeing Microsoft working on or providing any resolution. This is completely unacceptable.

Can I also add to this, that this app was working and although I have not used it for several weeks now, it was working properly.

I can only assume that as part of some update this issue was introduced, so kindly ask that this be referred to the developer to resolve.

Same situation continues. I m wondering if WhatsApp or Microsoft trying to fix it in near future. It is very problematic for the people who use WhatsApp on their PCs on daily basis.
