every 2-3 months, I get a driver error on my surface pro 3.  typically, i have updated firmware and drivers.

i can't remember where to go for the download(s)

whydoes this error happen? is it due to changes on the MS end?

    Hi Mike,

A driver error for a Bluetooth device is normally fixed after running the Bluetooth Troubleshooter on your Surface. We suggest following the steps to Fix Bluetooth problems in Windows 10.

Let us know if this resolves your issue.

    Hi Mike,

For us to narrow down your concern with Microsoft arc touch mouse driver, we would like to know the following:

    • What is the exact error message that you are getting?

I have actually had this problem 3 - 4 times since I purchased the Surface Pro 3 and MS arc touch BT mouse. Why I have this problem with a MS Surface and a MS mouse is beyond me! The first time I saw this was shortly after I purchased. I happened to be in Denver and went to a MS store. The tech updated the firmware and the mouse worked. The machine does not see the mouse. See screenshot below.

No. Still have the "Driver Error" for which I sent the screen shot! Where do I get the driver for the Microsoft mouse and Microsoft Surface Pro 3 running Microsoft Windows 10 (64 bit) on the Microsoft site? Things shouldn't be this difficult. That's why I bought a MS mouse.

What changed. Things worked fine a week ago.
