Surface Keyboard

Finding it hard to get an answer for this one. I love the look of the surface keyboard (having been used to apple keyboards) but I want to use it wired. Is the Surface desktop keyboard wireless only, or does it have a wired option through a cable?

Thanks,

    Hi infinitus21,

    Thank you for your response.

From the available keyboards we can find in the Microsoft Store online https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/collections/surfacekeyboard?cat0=Devices&icid=SurfaceAccCat_Nav1_TypeCoverKeyboard_072018&headerID=department-surface, the keyboards that can be wired are the Microsoft Wireless Desktop 900 and the Microsoft Sculpt Comfort Desktop only.  No equivalent products similar to the Surface Keyboard that can be wired.

    Hi infinitus21,

Thank you for reaching out Microsoft Community.

The Surface Keyboard can only be used wireless. This can't be wired. If you are to look at it from its technical specs, it doesn't say about using a USB cable. Instead, it's being paired to compatible devices through its Bluetooth technology.

Thanks for this, only one more thin (sorry for being a Microsoft noob).

Is there an equivalent product that comes with a wired option. I reckon I'll just grab the Surface, but if there is a wired similar product I'll go for that.
