    Hello, 1111111111_426.

    Welcome to Microsoft Community!

The blue screen problem is indeed troubling, but I would like to be able to better identify the source of the problem. It would be great if you could provide a further description of the error message.

There are usually several reasons for frequent blue screens:

    1. faulty or missing drivers
    2. corruption of system files
    3. unknown faults at the hardware level

We will troubleshoot the device, and in the event that we are able to access the system, I would first recommend that you back up the important data and contents of the device to avoid unanticipated damage.

Please try to manually obtain the driver and firmware installer for Surface Laptop 4 to troubleshoot potential driver issues and maintain device performance:

Surface Laptop 4 with Intel Processor https://www.microsoft.com/download/details.aspx?id=102924
Surface Laptop 4 with AMD Processor https://www.microsoft.com/download/details.aspx?id=102923

You will need to select the corresponding download link based on the CPU model.

Once the download is complete, please reboot your device to apply the driver update.

Next, you can perform a system scan and recovery:

    1. Search for CMD, find thecommand prompt, and choose to run in administrator mode.
    2. Enter the following commands one by one, make sure to execute the next command after the previous one is completed.

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

    SFC /Scannow

    1. After the scanning is completed, you can check the scanning information to see if the problem has been detected and fixed.

The above steps are usually effective if the problem originates from the system or driver.

Meanwhile, the final method of troubleshooting at the system level will be to reset the device by recovering the drive. This can troubleshoot any faults originating from the system or application.

This is probably the last thing you can do before troubleshooting a hardware issue, and I'll share the installation steps here for your possible needs:

Prepare a USB drive and visit the following site to get the recovery image

Get it by logging into your account and entering your device's serial number:

After completing the creation of the recovery drive, continue to refer to the guidelines in the following link to complete the recovery operation:

The link shows us a complete demo video and key textual guidelines:

This allowed us to reset this device and observe its behavior.

These are some of the suggestions I can share with you at this time. If you have anything to add to the situation, please don't hesitate to let me know.

    Best Regards.
