as stated need to resize photos on my surface 4,  seems I need an app well which one.  after spending too much already on this I'm finding lots of additional items to have to go and hunt for that are included in a lap top.

    Hi Jonathan,

If by 'resize' you mean increasing the the resolution of the photo, yes you would need another app for that to blow up the photo. You may use the search function to look for apps in the Windows Store or Bing. As a work around though what we suggest - if it's to a resolution that still fit a 1080p (wide) screen- is to zoom in on the on the original image then use the snipping tool that is a built-in app to windows.

Should there be anything else do let us know.

I want to resize, shrink, reduce, compress or make smaller. my camera takes pic from 4-7 MB  some programs only allow 2MB the previous versions of office photos were able to compressed to web, doc, email size in the blink of an eye. I found an app called Share to resize,  but that takes a 6MB to 650 kb.  really disappointing when you spend $1400 on a new system and something as simple as shrinking a picture is a huge hassle and not easily remedied.
