The screen of my Surface Pro 4 is jittering. When it first started I just needed to tap the display and the jittering would go away but now the jittering doesn't go away. I tried the Surface Repair tool and it didn't help. Also, the jittering doesn't happen all the time, it is periodical, but very annoying when it happens. How do I fix this?

I did, some said to have Task Manager running in the background which would fix the issue but it didn't. What are some other solutions?
unfortunately, customers are waiting for both Microsoft to acknowledge the
problem and provide a solution. follow that other large thread where it is most
likely someone official from Microsoft may post a fix - IF they ever develop
one. Microsoft does not seem to acknowledge issues until they have a fix.

I have the same problem especially when the CPU is overworked and it gets warm.
I changed the power settings to "battery saver" as described here since the setting is not there by default. It has reduced the number of times my screen jitters, so it's not a fix, but makes it less annoying.
NOTE: I've only used it under this setting for a few days now.
mine too. less than a year old.
when it's hot and idle, jitters until I put my finger on the screen.
this is rubbish. I'm wondering if I can sue for nausea and headaches. Class action?
