Hey all,

In device manager under Firmware, all 5 devices have a yellow warning triangle on them. I've downloaded and installed latest firmware as well as tried this (http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/surface/forum/surfpro3-surfdevice/surface-pro-3-embedded-firmware-drivers-has-a/929f7d39-e6cf-458b-8c87-4617ccb76812?auth=1), yet no luck.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

    Hey Adam,

If it was me, I'd download the drivers from Microsoft,

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=49497

Then delete the devices from device manager, selecting the option to delete the device driver software, if it is avaiable. Then I would run the driver installation package, reboot, and crosss my fingers.

Thats my usual process for fixing driver issues.

    Hope it helps.

    Regards

    Paul.

    Hey Paul,

Yeah, I've done that as well with no change unfortunately. Everything appears to be working, but those yellow warnings leave me at unease.

    Adam,

Well thats the basics out the window, so from what I understand there is a link between driver versions and the firmware BIOS versions. I wonder if thats the issue. For comparison...

The Surface UEFI Driver version I'm running is 89.1203.768.0

My Actual BIOS version  (in system information) matches, is this the same for you?

Mine shows 89.1203.768.0 as well; however, each of my 5 devices shows the same message:

This device cannot start. (Code 10)

    {Operation Failed}

    The requested operation was unsuccessful.

Debating a wipe and reload, but would like to understand this first.

    Hey Adam

Is the BIOS version the same? You can see it in the system information application? There is another way we can try removing the devices but it involves registry editing? You ok with that?

    Paul.
