ALT GR+8 or 9 does not work on Surface Pro Signature Type Cover

On my Surface Pro Signature Type Cover (Platin Grau) does ALT GR+8 or 9 not work with my Surface Pro 6 (German keyboard layout). Nor does ALT+Ctrl+8 or 9. The same happens on my onscreen keyboard. Instead: Alt GR+9 minimizes the actual window. What can I do?

    Thanks for reaching Surface Community. We do apologized if this takes some time. We are currently understand your issue since your are using a German Layout on it. So, I do have some few questions to have this isolated the fully understand.

    Alt GR+9 minimizes the actual window, that is the main function on that Shortcut correct?

    Is this the first time that you will try that shortcut?

    Does the other Shortcuts works?

    Have you tried to use that Shortcut while the FN key is ON or vice versa?

    Please keep us posted so that we can further Monitor this and help you out.
