Hi everyone,
recently I found my surfacebook volume button has changed its function, when I press volume +, the screen turned a little bit dim but then quickly changed back to the original brightness, when I press volume -, it activate the task manager/lock/switch user screen, does anyone have the same problem and any idea how to solve? thanks a lot.

Let's resolve this by performing the troubleshooting steps suggested by A. User on this link. Your Surface Book might be thinking that the keyboard is still attached and the windows key is being pressed. We can resolve this by opening the on screen keyboard and tap the windows key to disable it.

I found a solution: hold volume + and power button together for more than 5 seconds until the surface powered off, then powered on again this problem disappeared.
