There's an update For my pro 3, but when I go to update, it perpetually loads.  My last pro 3 had this problem too.  Is this affecting the store, because it won't open and my apps won't update either..

    Hi ButterscotchStallion,

Thank you for reaching out to us on the community. I understand you are having issues installing updates and I will try my best to help you here.

    Could you provide more details:

    • Do you see any error codes or messages?
    • Are the time and date correct on your Pro 3 device?

As CuriousGuyMe suggests (btw Thank you,CuriousGuyMe ), try running the Windows Update automatic troubleshooter!\[\](http://www.microsoft.com/surface/assets/img/external.png). The troubleshooter can fix some common problems with Windows Update.

You can also see here for more info about Pro 3 update history.

Please reply back and let us know how it goes.

    Best Regards,

    Clare

Ok, got it. What worked for me was resetting the cashed for the windows store.  when you side swipe on the right side, click the little magnifying glass (search comp).  then type in wsreset. That app will delete the store cookies.  the first rime didn't work but the second rime I tried it, everything was awesome again.  I hope it works for you! If not, maybe I can help find another way (for future reference for me).

First of all check if your date and time is set correctly.  If it's already set and still having problems, try running the windows update troubleshooter. Use the charms bar search tool and search for troubleshooting and open the troubleshooting Window. Under system and security, click or tap fix issues with windows update.

    Hope it works. Cheers.

    Hi there,

I'm just checking in to see if you are still not able to install updates.

Have you tried the troubleshooter I mentioned in the last post?

Please reply back and let us know.

    Best Regards,

    Clare

I am having the same issue with my surface pro 3. I tried all of the suggestions however nothing helps. When I run the troubleshooter it just states that it doesn't know what the problem is and to contact the windows community for other possible solutions. When I try to run the update history the screen freezes and I cannot close it. If I try and do a manual update from the windows site directly it brings me to the store and that will not open due to not installing the most recent update. Please help
