My pen doesn't work properly, drawing a straight line always wiggly. And it's not because my hands are shaking as going the same line back and forth repeats the wiggle.

So i wanted to calibrate the touch screen. The problem is as soon as i allow Digitizer Calibration Tool make changes on my computer, nothing happens, the window just closes and i go back to Tablet PC Settings menu. The same happens if i try to click setup on "configurate your pen and touch display": i touch the screen, i press enter and nothing more, back to Table PC Settings.

The question is, how can i calibrate the screen?

    Hello Andrei Shtogrin,

Thanks for reaching Microsoft Community. We're sorry to hear about this issue on your device. We'll do our best to help.

If the pen does not work well, we do not suggest recalibrating the touch settings manually. Surface devices come from the factory already calibrated and optimized for pen and touch input to ensure the best possible operation. Instead, try resetting the touch settings and see if it helps. Here's how:

    1. In the search box on the taskbar, enter calibrate, and then select Calibrate the screen for pen or touch inputfrom the list of results. (With a mouse, select Start, then select Calibrate the screen for pen or touch input.)
    2. Press Tabuntil you select Reset, and then press Enter.  (If you're using a mouse, select Reset.) If Resetis unavailable (appears dimmed), your Surface touch calibration is at the factory settings
    3. Press Tabuntil you select Yes, press Enter, and follow the onscreen instructions to recalibrate your Surface. (If you're using a mouse, select Yes, and then follow the onscreen instructions to recalibrate your Surface.)
    4. Restart your Surface and test the touchscreen to check whether it responds appropriately.

I hope this helps. Let us know how it goes.

    Regards,

    StevenK
