Hello sdfhsd8gh8,
Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Community. I understand how important this preference of yours.
For me to better understand your concern, I'll be asking some questions first:
- May I know what version of Windows your device is running?
- Were you using the touch keyboard?
- May I know what do you see when you type a word?
- Do you mean the words will be replaced with an emojis? A screenshot of your issue would be helpful. Please send it here.
In the meantime, try going to Settings > Devices > Typing > Click Advanced keyboard settings under More keyboard settings > then check or uncheck "Don’t close the panel automatically after an emoji has been entered" and see if that makes a difference.
I'll wait for your response.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Regards,
StevenK
