    Hi Bradley Fredricks,

Thank you for reaching Microsoft Community. I'm sorry to hear about what happened to your Surface Book 2 and definitely, this is not the experience we want you to have.

May I know what error code is the Surface ME driver getting in Device Manager?

Also, what is the Driver version of the driver that is currently installed? To check, open Device Manager and double-click Surface ME then go to its Driver tab to find the Driver version. If possible, take a screenshot of Driver tab window and share it to us here.

I'd love to provide you with the troubleshooting steps right now to fix the problem. I am afraid that we may have to wait for the above answer first so that we can provide the necessary information. Once we collect all the information, we will formulate the feasible resolution to help you with your case or if we need you to refer to the support that suits your problem. We will be sure to let you know in advance so that you save time.

    Kind regards,

    Marrion
