    Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Support.

I understand that you're having trouble changing the pen pressure on your Surface App even after reinstalling the drivers. Allow me to ask some questions to further isolate the issue.

To better assist you, may I know which version of Surface App you're using?

Also, have you tried updating your Surface device to the latest version of Windows? This may help resolve the issue.

Additionally, you may try resetting the Surface App to its default settings by going to Settings > Apps > Surface > Advanced options > Reset.

Also run the Surface diagnostic toolkit, See: Fix common Surface problems using the Surface Diagnostic Toolkit (microsoft.com)

If the issue persists, please let me know and we can explore other troubleshooting steps.

    Kind regards,

    Lavenia

    Hi,

The version of Surface App I'm currently using is 61.24020.115.0 and my device is running Windows 11 Pro 23H2.

Resetting the app still didnt resolve the issue. Upon running the Surface Diagnostic Toolkit, there seems to be no issues. I've also tried resetting the app after running the toolkit, it still doesn't work and give me the same issue that the app doesnt recognise pen inputs.

May I know which Surface pen you are using? see Identify your Surface Pen and features - Microsoft Support.

Also check Device manager for any drivers that is showing an error with a yellow bang and share a screenshot of the error code.

If no driver error found, try reinstalling the Surface App.

I'm using the Surface Pen with no clip. There are no driver errors shown in the Device Manager. I've tried reinstalling the Surface app 5 times, each time it doesn't work.

    Thanks for confirming.

Based on the screenshot you posted, it appears that you have a Surface Pro 4 that it is running Windows 11. The device is not on the list of compatible Surface devices to upgrade with Windows 11. Would you mind sharing about how did you update to Windows 11?
