How to reprogram keys on Surface Ergonomic Keyboard, to stop depending on Fn key
I'm coming from the Natural Ergonomic Multimedia keyboard, which had separated media keys from Fn keys. I was able to toggle full screen mode in Chrome with F11 and control music playback.
Because media and Fn keys are shared, I have to constantly toggle Fn, and the light is so dim that I never know which mode I'm in. It's really frustrating!
Is there a way to trigger F11 with some other key so I can leave the Fn switch on media key mode?
Thanks!

I found that the FN-key can be used as a toggle key or as a combination key.
So you can use the FN-key as a toggle to switch between media- and F-keys.
OR
Combine the FN-key with a key from the top row.
Example: When the FN-key is off (to use mediakeys), you can press FN+PlayPause to access F5 without the need to toggle the FN-key.
