Microsoft Pen Protocol

Hello,

I am currently looking for a pen to use with my Surface 2 RT and i stumbled across the Adonit Ink Stylus.

I contacted their customer service to ask if the pen is compatible with my surface, they said it is if the surface supports Microsoft Pen Protocol.

Does anyone know if the Surface RT supports Microsoft Pen Protocol, or if there are any good pens for my Surface?

Thanks!

There are two types of pens, active and capacitive. Active pens require a battery, some capacitive pens require a battery but most do not.

The RT only supports capacitive pens and does not support the Microsoft Pen Protocol.  All the Adonit ink stylus pins I see are active pens which are not supported on the RT.

There are fine point capacitive pens available.
