nVidia GPU not engaging on external monitor

hello,

I have purchase surface book 2, 15" but the strange thing is that when i am connecting the SB2 to Microsoft dock and external monitor the external monitor is not working on NVIDIA GPU and it is only using the Intel cheap can you please help me what should i do?

    The Surface Book only uses the Intel processor for video. The Nvidia GPU is only used for graphics.

    thank you for the reply, yes i know sb2 uses for video intel cheap but the problem is when i try to play a game like xplane 11 which needs a high graphical processor on external display i face problem and the gane does not working smoothly and frame rate is too low,

    as soon as i disconect the external monitor everything works perfectly 😕
