Halo Spartan Strike/**** will not open

I installed both Halo Spartan Strike and **** on my Surface GO.  The game(s) run until you get to "place thumbs here to start" and neither of the sensor areas can be active at the same time.  One is orange and rotating and the other is blue and still.  If I move my thumbs a little the other will turn orange and rotate but the other then becomes blue and stationary.  Hence, neither of the games will start.  Is there something I need to/can change in settings somewhere to allow touch-enable games to run?

    Hello TFMorgan,

We'd like to dig deeper on the issue you're experiencing. Can you tell us if the touch capabilities of your Surface Go is working? If not, you can follow the troubleshooting steps here. Does re-installing the app make a difference?

Also, ensure that your Surface is running the latest Windows and Surface Updates to make sure that your device is running in an optimal state. Downloading and running the Surface Diagnostic Toolkit can help you update your Windows and Surface firmware and driver updates. For more information about the toolkit, click here. After running the toolkit, force your Surface to shutdown and restart to make sure all updates are applied. To do that, press and hold the power button until the screen turns off (about 10 seconds), then release the power button. Press and release the power button to turn your Surface back on. You should see the Microsoft/Surface logo.

If you're experiencing this only in the game, please contact our Xbox support here.

If you would like me to provide additional advice, simply respond to this thread. I will get notified and I’ll reply to you as soon as I can.

    Regards.

After you have followed the instruction on updating your device, if it is still not working as expected, please run through the diagnostics tests in the Surface Diagnostic Toolkit. To install the toolkit, see this article: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4037239/surface-fix-common-surface-problems-using-surface-diagnostic-toolkit

For reference, I did test Halo Spartan Strike on my fully updated device and it worked properly. No additional actions were required.

Please let us know what you find.

    Jeremy
