It is likely pulling it down from Windows Update. I don't think the driver is
"bad", but can you try installing the driver with this specific process:
- download the MSI file for your version of Windows
- disconnect from the Internet 3. uninstall the drivers again and delete them. do not restart yet.
- run the MSI file 5. restart
- don't connect to the Internet yet - check to see if anything has changed and
check device manager and see if there are Code 10's/yellow bangs. Save those
screen shots - restart and connect to the Internet and respond with results.
