My smartphone can't boot. An automatic reboot takes place after the log.

The smartphone is running on patch 12/2023.501.515

I tried to download Surface recovery image, but my serial number downloads an outdated version of ota_c1-12-customer_2023.501.294 but downgrade is not allowed.

How download ota_c1-12-customer_2023.501.515 (1724169384)

    Hi Aliaksandr,

If it is convenient, could you please send us the screenshot of the recovery image obtained by your serial number in the Surface recovery image page for confirmation? Since we do not have the serial number information available, you can go directly to this page and see all the recovery images available for download.

If ota_c1-12-customer_2023.501.515 is displayed on the page, download it normally.

But if that version isn't available, my most immediate advice is to connect with Surface Duo tech support, who can provide you with one-on-one support and guidance on what to do next.

I can share the steps on how to connect with Surface Duo's real-time support here, hopefully to help you:

    1. Use your personal Microsoft account (not your organization account) to access the following links:

    Contact - Microsoft Support

    1. Type A specific version of Surface Duo 2 recovery image is required, press Enter, and click "Contact Support" at the bottom:

    1. Select Technical Support and select the device model you are currently using in Produce family, then click Confirm:

    1. You will see contact options for Chat support and Phone support, please contact them during business hours:

I wish you all the best.

    Best Regards,

    Hello, Aliaksandr_DuoLike.

    Welcome to Microsoft Community!

I understand that you have completed a reinstallation using the recovery media in order to be able to restart your Surface Duo 2. Now you want to update it to the latest version: 2023.501.515 (1724169384)

I will share with you the following ways to get the update:

    1. Open Settings: Find and open the Settings app on your device.
    2. Go to System Update: In the Settings menu, select the “System” option and click “System Update”.
    3. Check for updates: Click the “Check for updates” button and the device will automatically search for and display available updates.

If an update is available, follow the on-screen instructions to download and install it. If you don't receive an update notification, try the Surface App:

Using the Surface app: Download and install the Surface app, then expand Help and Support in the app to check the status of updates.

These are the ways I can share with you to get updates.

I wish you all the best.

    Best Regards.

Hello. Thank you for the answer.

I can't proceed to the settings. The smartphone automatically restarts at the Microsoft&Android logo stage
