Surface pro 4 wont connect to verizon hotspot

Hello,

The Owner of one of the clients i work for has a relatively new (2 months old) Surface Pro 4 running windows 10. I am having an issue connecting it to a Verizon mobile hotspot (Jetpack)

I have tried the things as follows:

-Attempting to connect from a different profile

-updating drivers

-uninstalling and reinstalling the network card

-switching on and off of airplane mode

-hard reset of the jetpack mobile hotspot

-hard reset of the surface

-forgetting the network and re adding it (didn't work because it never has been able to connect to it)

-Testing other surfaces on this hotspot (another employees surface pro 4 connects instantly without issue)

-doing a system restore

-installing the surface pro firmware updates

It connects to wifi just fine, and it sees the hotspot, but will just spin on "checking network requirements" until it fails out.

Any Ideas?

Here r a few more suggestions.

Compare the Marvell wifi driver version of the sp4 that worked with your Verizon Jetpack to the driver version in your sp4.

Verify that you have the latest Marvell driver from Microsoft. If it is the latest try an older version of the driver.

Go to a Verizon store an see if your sp4 works with another Jetpack.  If it does work see if there are firmware updates available for the Jetpack or swap yours for another Jetpack.

Try locking your sp4 wifi  band to either 2.4 Ghz or 5 Ghz in Device Manager.  see below

    Try the following regedit:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/ControlSet001/Services/mrvlpcie8897

    Find the item named "TXAMSDU".

Modify the value from 1 to 0

    Retart your system

I just checked this, It is already set to 0 but still will not connect to the hotspot. It doesnt have any issue with any other wifi. Just the Verizon hotspots.
