Hi Reza,
Welcome to Microsoft Community.
I'm Hahn and I'm here to help you with your concern.
Upgrading the SSD in your Surface Pro 9 generally doesn't affect battery life, as different SSDs have different power consumption rates. If the Spectrum SP700 NVMe SSD uses more power than the original SSD, it could result in reduced battery life, but the difference shouldn't be as dramatic as you're experiencing. While NVMe SSDs generally have standard power requirements, power management and efficiency can vary slightly. SSDs that aren't optimized specifically for the Surface Pro may use more power. To fix this, you can try the following steps:
- Check app usage. In Windows 11 open Settings > System > Power and battery. Select Last 24 hours and then select an hour of high consumption.
- Force a shutdown and restart your Surface: Force a shutdown and restart your Surface - Microsoft Support
- Run the Surface Diagnostic Toolkit: Fix common Surface problems using the Surface app and Surface Diagnostic Toolkit - Microsoft Support
- Battery Report: Generate a battery report in Windows to get detailed information on your battery usage. This can help you identify any anomalies. You can generate a battery report by running
powercfg /batteryreport
in the Command Prompt. - Run Power troubleshooter. From the Search box, enter "troubleshoot power" and then open Find and fix problems with your computer's power setting.
I hope this helps. If there is anything not clear, please do not hesitate to let me know.
Your Sincerely
