Surface Pro 8 crashes with BSOD | Event: 'Microsoft UICC ISO Reader c619e05a 1' rejected IOCTL POWER / TRANSMIT

After my Surface Pro 8 LTE got new NVMe (step up from 256GB to 1TB) and system was reinstalled I am facing this problem.

Sometimes Surface stays on without problems for hours, then it reboots 3x within 10minutes.

I am struggling to understand why? LTE module is untouched, I even switched to eSIM but no help.

Even Viewer is always reporting these Errors before the crash

    Hi OndrejLepa,

Thank you for reaching Microsoft Community and apologies for the inconvenience this has caused you.

I would like to ask first for a few details on this for us to properly understand and isolate the issue:

First, kindly try first to make sure that all updates are installed on the device including Optional updates then check for the Surface drivers' health through the Surface app and run the Surface Diagnostic Toolkit on the device. After running those steps, please check if the issue persists. See this page for reference: Fix common Surface problems using the Surface app and Surface Diagnostic Toolkit - Microsoft Support

Try also to check if the smart card service on the device is running through these steps below:

    1. Press CTRL+ALT+DEL, and then select Start Task Manager.
    2. In the Windows Task Manager dialog box, select the Services tab.
    3. Select the Name column to sort the list alphabetically, and then type s.
    4. In the Name column, look for SCardSvr, and then look under the Status column to see if the service is running or stopped.

You may also see this page for more details on this error: Smart Card Troubleshooting (Windows) | Microsoft Learn

Let me know how it goes.

    Kind regards,

    Marrion
