it seems that the compass..(using any app) is not correct and appears to be approx. 60 degrees out anti-clockwise..

So you mean to say that there is no way to make a compass that isnt working out of the box to point the right way? whats the point in having a compass in the first place then? Do i need warranty service to get it to work right?

Hi, just been talking to support. I was told to remove all compass related apps and try reinstalling them. seems to have work mostly, not perfect but think that is app related...maybe. still a great bit of kit in spite of this.
Update... compass seems to be still incorrect. Have wiped surface and tried apps again... still not accurate to use. Pity
